WCB (Western Canadian Blend) is an aggregate of heavy sour crude production (21 API gravity, 3.0 wt% sulphur) in the Wainright and Hardisty regions. Unique to WCB is an agreement by the gathering systems to not use field butanes as diluent. Though there are many connections to WCB, the principal contacts would include Cenovus Energy and Repsol.
