Light Sour Blend (LSB) is a conventionally produced light sour crude gathered from batteries in southeastern Saskatchewan and southwestern Manitoba. LSB is considered a benchmark light sour crude (daily price postings are available for LSB on the Internet).

Light Sour Blend saw elevated density, sulphur, MCR, TAN, and metals for the October sample. Simulated distillation results showed a smaller naphtha and larger gas oil and residue.
