Bow River North refers to the conventional heavy crude production gathered south of Hardisty, Alberta and delivered to terminals at the North end of the Bow River pipeline system in Hardisty. Bow River North is 20 to 24 API, 3.0 to 2.75 wt% sulphur conventional heavy crude stream with a long history. As a gathered production stream, Bow River North is connected to, and takes deliveries from, multiple producers' facilities. Bow River North is combined with other heavy conventional Western Canadian streams at Superior, WI to create Conventional Heavy (CHV).
