Shell Synthetic Light Monthly Reports

Date: Feb 6, 2013

Batch: SSX-673 - Edmonton

Marginally increased pentanes as well as reduced heptanes and octanes were observed in the February sample of Shell Synthetic Light.

Date: Dec 1, 2012

Batch: SSX-904 - Edmonton

Elevated sulphur and pentanes as well as reduced C7 x C10 concentrations were observed in the December sample of Shell Synthetic Light.

Date: Oct 6, 2012

Batch: SSX-605 - Edmonton

While the pentanes content is high the remaining light ends displayed slightly reduced volumes. This is reflected in the simulated distillation by a reduction in the naphtha and distillate fractions. Slightly decreased BTEX was also experienced for this October sample.

Date: Aug 1, 2012

Batch: SSX-882 - Edmonton

Marginally reduced C6 x C9 content and elevated pentanes resulted in a slightly elevated density for the August sample of Shell Synthetic Light.

Date: Jun 5, 2012

Batch: SSX-609 - Edmonton

Apart from slightly increased butanes and sulphur, the results for the June sample of Shell Light Synthetic were consistent with historical data.

Date: Apr 6, 2012

Batch: SSX-603 - Edmonton

Other than a marginally elevated pentanes content, the April sample of Shell Synthetic Light was normal and average in all aspects. The minimal MCR and absence of metals confirms the bottomless nature of this synthetic crude oil. The simulated distillation confirms that the composition of the April sample was normal in all regards.

Date: Feb 9, 2012

Batch: SSX-611 - Edmonton

The February sample of SSX appeared to be relatively consistent with historical quality characteristics for the stream.

Date: Dec 26, 2011

Batch: SSX-840 - Edmonton

Other than an unusually high pentanes content (5.27 vol% versus an approximately 3.0 vol% average in recent samples), the December sample of SSX was reasonably typical of the historical characteristics.

Date: Oct 21, 2011

Batch: SSX-609 - Edmonton

A marginal increase in pentanes and lower than average C6s x C9s and BTEX were noted for the October sample of Shell Synthetic Light. No metals were detected.

Date: Jun 26, 2011

Batch: SSX-807 - Edmonton

Increases in density, sulphur, and pentanes, along with decreases in BTEX and C7s x C9s, were observed for the June sample of SSX. No metals were detected.

Date: May 23, 2011

Batch: SSX-797 - Edmonton

The May sample of Shell Synthetic Light had elevated sulphur and MCR as well as above average C4s x C5s and C9s x C10s. The simulated distillation results reflected an increase in the naphtha component. No nickel was detected.

Date: Apr 21, 2011

Batch: SSX-793 - Edmonton

Slight decreases in BTEX and C7s x C8s along with above average C4s x C5s were observed for this month's sample of SSX. No metals were detected.

Date: Mar 27, 2011

Batch: SSX-779 - Edmonton

The March sample of SSX had above average C4s x C5s, along with slight decreases in BTEX and C7s x C8s. No metals were detected.

Date: Feb 21, 2011

Batch: SSX-773 - Edmonton

Decreases in BTEX and C7s x C8s, along with increased C4s x C5s and C10s, were observed for the February sample of SSX. No metals were detected. The simulated distillation results reflected an increase in distillate and decrease in the size of the gas oil component.

Date: Jan 29, 2011

Batch: SSX-761 - Edmonton

Slight increases in C4s x C5s and decreases in BTEX and C7s x C9s were observed for the January sample of SSX. No MCR, metals, or olefins were detected.

Date: Dec 21, 2010

Batch: SSX-759 - Edmonton

Decreased BTEX and C6s x C9s and increased C4s x C5s were detected for the December sample of Shell Synthetic Light. No metals were detected.

Date: Nov 23, 2010

Batch: SSX-752 - Edmonton

A marginal increase in MCR, along with decreased toluene and C5s x C8s, were observed for this month's sample of SSX. No metals or MCR were detected. The sample's simulated distillation results indicated a decrease in naphtha, which is consistent with the observed shifts in light ends.

Date: Oct 31, 2010

Batch: SSX-743 - Edmonton

Slightly decreased C4s x C5s and C7s and a marginally increased density were observed for the October sample of SSX. No metals were detected.

Date: Sep 23, 2010

Batch: SSX-737 - Edmonton

Slight increases in benzene and sulphur were detected for this month's sample of SSX. No metals or MCR were detected. The sample's simulated distillation results indicated an increase in distillate and decrease in the gas oil component.

Date: Aug 21, 2010

Batch: SSX-732 - Edmonton

Slight increases in C9s x C10s and decreases in C7s were present in this month's sample of SSX. Density was higher than typically observed, but no MCR and no metals were detected.
