Reduced pentanes and hexanes resulted in a slightly elevated density for the December sample of Southern Lights Diluent. RVP was slightly elevated compared to historical data. No organo-phosphates or oxygenates were detected.
Slightly lower mercaptans and slightly higher C5/C6 were evident in this sample of Southern Lights Diluent. Apart from these changes, all other characteristics of SLD remain consistent with data compiled to date.
Slightly higher C4's were evident in this sample of Southern Lights Diluent. Apart from these changes, all other characteristics of SLD remain consistent with data compiled to date.
The second sample of Southern Lights for April contained more typical butane levels and the density had returned to the short term average value. All other characteristics of this sample were consistent with recent historical averages.
Apart from a somewhat elevated butanes content and a slightly lower density, the early April sample of Southern Lights was typical quality versus recent arrivals at Edmonton.
Southern Lights condensate quality appears to be reasonably consistent, although there are too few samples in the database to make any comments on variability or on data trends.

The sampling and testing program on condensate feeders began in January 2012. There are not enough data in the system at this point to comment on specific qualities or trends.
