Husky Synthetic Blend appeared to contain notably higher concentrations of light components, reducing the density of the product from a historical 860-870 to 842 kg/m3. The absence of MCR, metals, and almost nonexistent sulphur indicates that this is indeed a fully upgraded product. Husky's BPU operations underwent a turnaround in Sep-Oct and this sample may be an anomaly and not a product quality shift. We reserve further comments until we have data based on the December test results.
